Colombia, a land full of diversity. From its culture, its people, landscapes, food, to all the wide range if activities you can find, more than you could possible imagine. This time, I’ill give you five, in my next post, I’ll give you others, it could go on and on and on, but let’s summarize this time to this 5.
1. SCUBA DIVING

Located north-west of south America, Colombia is the 27th largest country in the world, this location, gives Colombia access to two oceans, we have the Pacific Ocean to the west side of the country and north we have the Caribbean, that is a lot of water to navigate through, but also to explore and dive in.
Due to its vast oceanic regions (pacific and Caribbean) Colombia is a hot spot for scuba diving, from north in the island of San Andres to south, there are plenty of places where diving is a lifetime experience, and many of this diving sites are unique in its kind.
2. PARAGLIDING

Here things gets serious, Colombia is an international well-known country to do paragliding, it offers all the different kinds of flights all across the country, from north to south, from east to west there is a place to flight and a specific flight experience to have.
3. FLYBOARD

This sport was born in France, and now, you can find it all around the world, it is very popular in some countries, where amusement parks use it as part of theirs shows, there are even professional flyboard riders, and annual contests are held in France.
Colombia couldn’t be the exception to the rule, you can do it in different cities like Cartagena, or Calima lake down south near Cali.
4. SKYDIVING

Jumping off a plane at up high in the sky is possible in Colombia and it’s something you must do, as the other activities, you can find different skydiving services all around the country, like in Bogotá.
Colombia has much to see, why don’t do it from the sky? dare to live this lifetime experience, and you wont regret.
5. KITESURFING

A kiteboarder harnesses the power of the wind with a large controllable power kite to be propelled across the water on a kiteboard similar to a wakeboard or a small surfboard, with or without footstraps or bindings.
Kitesurfing is a style of kiteboarding specific to wave riding, which uses standard surfboards or boards shaped specifically for the purpose. You can also, find it in different places from north to south on the west part of country, from la Guajira (Cabo de la Vela), passing by Cartagena to the Calima Lake, you will not only enjoy the waves, but also the beautiful landscapes and weather of Colombia’s kit sites.
